Frequently Asked Questions
Cold-pressed juice is made by applying lots of pressure on fruits and vegetables to extract their juices. Unlike tradition methods like centrifugal juicing, cold-pressing doesn’t use any heat. Because there’s no heat, more of the natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxydants can be preserved. We also think it tastes better!
Nope. We like to keep it clean. We use High Pressure Processing (HPP) to extend the shelf life of our products (45 to 70 days). We expose the juices to extreme pressure to inactivate any harmful bacteria. HPP is often considered one of the cleanest preservation methods for juices. Just make sure to keep your juice refrigerated (≤4°C)!
We never use any of the priority allergens listed by Health Canada, i.e. eggs, milk, mustard, peanuts, crustaceans and molluscs, fish, sesame seeds, soy, sulphites, tree nuts, wheat and triticale. We only use fruits and vegetables in our drinks. If you’re concerned, we strongly encourage you to email us before buying anything.
Yes! When juice is freshly made from whole ingredients, the heavier bits sink to the bottom. It’s not additives, it’s not chemicals, it’s simply some pulp, some fiber, etc. Nothing to worry about. Just give it quick shake, mix everything up, and you’re back in business!
